Music

Music is one of my most favorite things in the world. Although I don't have the rock and roll musician persona, i still enjoy music. I enjoy mainstream music as well as less popular musicians. Next weekend I am going to see my favorite band Vampire Weekend in concert!! Their music is amazing, and in a genre of its own. Their fashion sense is what I really like about them. They are all very preppy, and in fact, they met at Columbia University. Chris Tomson, the drummer, is my favorite, and rocks the Lacoste cableknit sweater.

Welcome to Prepdom!

The preppy lifestyle is one of the most infamous lifestyles in the U.S. The term "Preppy" came from the nickname "prep", which was given to those who attended college preparatory schools (a.k.a private). Preps are often associated with the wasp's of the North East, but there are some Preps further south. Most Preps are known for coming from old money, but there are some that are middle class or didn't come from money. One of the most important things I can emphasize is that preppy is a lifestyle, not a trend. The lifestyle is what makes a prep, a prep.
